I was sorry to learn of Helen's passing. For 30+years Helen was my colleague in Stow, but more importantly she was a wonderful friend. We enjoyed many conversations ranging from politics, the state of the world to our pets both past and present. She really enjoyed talking about her form cat Goldie, who was a therapy cat long before therapy animals were recognized. I will miss our conversations, but I do believe Helen will keep her eye on people's efforts to make our world a better place for everyone. Carol Kelley

It truly seems to be the end of an era with Helen passing on. She was a major part of my childhood memories, when I called her "Auntie" Helen. It was always a fun time when she and my Aunt Mary Claire were there. Helen became a dear friend as I grew into adulthood and throughout. I am so thankful that I was able to see her in the hospital just days before she died. Our family has truly lost a very dear friend. Mary Clancy Spain

I was her student at St Genevieve. She influenced me greatly, teaching me to write, think, and to work for those who had less. A holy woman and a gift.
