Sullivan family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have wonderful memories of Mr. Sullivan from the time you moved to Temple Street. I always knew if I needed help, he would be there to help! Mary and Bill were wonderful to my Mom when she needed help. He was a good man and neighbor with a wonderful family. My love to you all.

Never will I ever forget the wonderful friendship of our dads! When I heard Bill had passed it was like losing a bit of my dad again. Those two always brought laughter to us. I know my mom has a pot of beans waiting for him, while my dad waits to give him a big bear hug.

Bill Sullivan. Just hearing his name brings back so many fond memories! He was my Dad's best friend. Although it's been 30 years since my Dad's sudden death, I can still hear them laughing in our backyard just like it was yesterday. Probably over something stupid that some kid (their own or some scout from their troop) had done. Bill had such a great sense of humor! He was a special man and I know my Dad thought of him like a brother. We thought of him as an extension of our family.

Their friendship went way beyond scouting. They even went to college together. They took an English night class at Boston College just for fun. I think they were in their mid/late 40s??

And the stories they would was an art form.

I have a big smile on my face and tears in my eyes. God bless you, Sully! To all the Sullivans--Mary, Billy, Danny, wives and grandchildren--I'm sorry for your loss. Sully was a special guy. Salt of the earth.

and to John...I'm sorry for not including you in my original could I forget? The Lawlor clan (all 5 kids and their spouses) 'raised a pint' to Bill tonight at Bunratty's in Reading. We shared so many memories. Our eyes were filled with tears...from memories of Dad and Bill and how much we miss that time in our well as from laughing....God Bless.
