Obituary for Samuel R D'Agostino

D’AGOSTINO, Samuel R. of Burlington and Winchester, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2023. He was 95 years old. Beloved husband of the late Frances (Sweeney) D’Agostino. Loving father of Nancy Patierno and her husband Frank of Townsend, Ralph and Pam Martin of Woburn, Paul and his wife Lisa of Andover, Mary Walsh and her husband Brian of Woburn, Samuel and his wife Beverly of Medford, Grayce Flumerfelt and her husband Carl of Acton, and Lisa Rose and her husband Paul of Burlington. Cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and his late grandsons Brian and Matthew Walsh. Dear brother of Norma Spano, Ralph D’Agostino, Robert D’Agostino, and the late Joseph D’Agostino. Brother-in-law of Mary Buckley. Sam was later married to the late Merna Lyon and is survived by her children JB, Amy, and Cynthia. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St. (Rte. 38) WINCHESTER on Sunday, May 7th from 2-5pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington (St. Veronica’s Parish) on Monday, May 8th at 10am.
