Phyllis L. Sheehan, a life-long resident of Winchester, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 2, 2022. She is the beloved wife of the late James J. Sheehan, daughter of the late Carmine & Carmela Luongo, sister of the late Velina A. Gerard & husband Vincent A. Gerard, Carolyn F. Luongo and C. Paul Luongo and aunt to Ronald J. Gerard, all of Winchester. She is survived by her niece, Janet Gerard Bucklew and her husband Thomas Bucklew of Arrington, Tennessee, and many cousins, friends and neighbors.
An executive secretary, a model, an avid gardener and dancer, Phyllis was also very active in her local community, volunteering at McCall Junior High School and participating for years in activities and events at the Jenks Senior Center. She was known by many throughout town and was always there to meet, to greet, to support and to entertain. She will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours will be held at the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St, WINCHESTER on Thursday, February 24th from 9:00-11:00 AM with a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM.
