Obituary for Mark D Stevenson
Mark D. Stevenson passed away Saturday, October 2nd at his home in Dracut unexpectedly, at the age of fifty four. Born in Wahiawa, Hawaii, he was the son of Paul M. and the late Ruth Ann (McKeering) Stevenson. Mark lived in Riverdale, Maryland and Dale City, Virginia prior to settling in Winchester, Massachusetts in 1978.
Mark was a member of Winchester High School’s graduating class of 1985. After school, Mark became a landscaper working for various companies in the Woburn and Winchester area. He most recently worked at Allen Tree and Landscape for over twenty years. Mark was fun loving, quick to make friends and generous to a fault. He was an avid New England sports fan and closely followed the Patriots, Bruins, Celtics and Red Sox.
He leaves his son, Mark D. Stevenson Jr. of Lawrence and his sister, Corinne L. O’Neill and her husband Steven of Woburn. Mark was predeceased by his partner of many years Leslie B. Anderson. Also survived by his aunts, Sheila M. McKeering of Peabody and Edna Nutile of New Port Richey FL, cousins Karen Cierri and Patricia Stevenson.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit his family on Friday, October 8 th from 9 am to 10:45 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11 am in the Lane Funeral Home, 760 Main St. (Rte 38) Winchester.
