Obituary for Deborah A McWade (Cardullo)

Deborah (Cardullo) McWade of Woburn, formerly of Winchester, passed away peacefully in her home, on November 29, 2021 at the age of 66. Born and raised in Winchester to Barbara and Joseph Cardullo, she was a graduate of Winchester High School before moving onto and graduating from Graham Jr College in Boston. After school, she spent time living in New York City, New Jersey, and Stockholm before returning home to Massachusetts to start a family.

Deb was a loving, dedicated mother and wife. She was known locally for her delicious cookies and cakes, eventually opening her own online bakery out of her home. For fun, Deb enjoyed flying around New England with her husband, sampling the best beaches and chocolate the area has to offer as well as spending time spoiling her beloved family dogs, Harrison, Emma, and Boone. She was the president of the Vinson-Owen parents association while her children were in school and eventually began a career as an office manager where her attention to detail and organization skills made her an invaluable team member everywhere she went. Deb was a proud, life-long Winchester Sachem.

She is survived by her husband Phil Ruckel, her son Zachary McWade and his significant other, Heather, her son Jackson McWade, his wife Kelin, and her siblings Marguerite, Joe, Paul, and John. She leaves a legacy of love and will be deeply missed by everyone her life touched. At the family’s request services will be private.
