WASZAK, David J. of Chelmsford formerly of Winchester, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2022. David was a graduate of Winchester High School class of 1970. Enlisting in the US Army he continued his college education at Franklin Institute of Engineering and UMass Boston. After marrying his high school sweetheart, they later moved to Chelmsford where they raised their two daughters, whom he was incredibly proud of. David loved life, he spent his years working hard, traveling, hiking the mountains of North Conway, running the Boston Marathon, walking every morning rain or shine, he loved the outdoors. David retired as Vice President for JP Morgan Chase Company after 34 years. After retiring he spent his winters in Fort Myers, Florida, where he enjoyed special times with family and friends, playing golf, or fixing anything he could around the house. His smile and zest for life will truly be missed by all.
David leaves his beloved wife, Rose (Lane) Waszak. Loving father of Kristine Gray and her husband Jeff of Chelmsford and Katie Waszak and her partner Scott Farrell of Stoneham. Cherished grandfather of Adriana Gray and Emma Farrell. Son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Waszak. Dear Brother of Cheryl Adams and her husband Rick of California, Diana Annese and her partner John Turner of Beverly. Marilyn Waszak of Norwood. Steven Waszak, his wife Ellen of Chelmsford. Also survived by many loving brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews. Late Veteran US Army Vietnam War. At the request of the family funeral services will be Private.
