From John Roberts (Gwenan's brother)
So sorry to hear about Dave's passing. He was quite a character and cared well for my sister Gwenan through difficult times. He was also a good stepfather to Osian. Having enjoyed Dave's company in Wales and the USA, I can only repeat Osian's comment that he will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others. I saw when I came over for Gwenan's funeral that you as a family are very supportive in challenging times. I wish you all strength to overcome this bereavement. Dymuniadau gorau.

I would like to express my gratitude for all messages of support and condolence that I have received following Dave’s passing. I apologise for being unable to attend the funeral service in person due to Covid-19, however I would like to thank all those who attended and organised the service. In particular, I would like to thank Dave’s siblings; Richard, Tom and Anne.

Dave had a close group of friends and family who cherished him deeply. I have spoken to several of his former colleagues and friends here in Wales. They have very fond memories of Dave; particularly those moments shared together at the Red Lion! Above all, Dave will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others. These are traits that endeared him to many people on both sides of the Atlantic.

I hope to see you all in the near future. Thank you once again, Osian.
