Obituary for Conor Polianites

Conor Polianites of Palm Beach, Florida by way of Winchester, Massachusetts passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2023. Conor is survived by his loving parents, Lindsey Quirk and Eric Henrikson of Melrose, MA and his father Jim Polianites of Newton, MA. Conor leaves behind his brother and best friend, Matthew Polianites, of West Palm Beach, FL, sister Melissa Ross and husband Jacob of Wenham, MA, brothers Karl Henrikson and wife Wendy of Green Bay, WI and Brett Henrikson of New York City, NY. Conor also leaves his beloved 2 year old nephews Pierce Jacob Ross of Wenham, MA and Karl Huang Henrikson of Green Bay, WI. He will be greatly missed by his aunts and uncles, Thomas and Elizabeth Quirk of Las Cruces, NM, Kitsy and Tipper Durkin of Dracut, MA, Kathy Henrikson of Copenhagen, Denmark along with his many cousins. Conor treated every animal he ever encountered with kindness and empathy. He was an extremely proud “Papa” to his rescue dog Big Chungus and cat Coraline “Coco”. Conor is a 2011 graduate of Winchester High School and a 2016 graduate of UMass Lowell majoring in Environmental Science. After graduation he played an intergral role in the succcess of Rashidi Property Services in Lexington, MA and Safebound Moving & Storage in Palm Beach, Florida. Recently, Conor founded Polianites Design Partners, a high-end furniture installation firm in Miami, FL. With his extremely personable nature, Conor effortlessly accumulated lifelong friends on his many adventures. He leaves behind close friends as far back as Children‘s Own and Vinson-Owen Elementary School. Many of these friends later formed a softball team (the Night Owls) clinching the 2015 and 2016 Winchester Gentlemen’s Club Softball Tournament. Team Member Brian Conley, “Conor was the lifeblood of our team, and of the many teams we shared together”. An extremely talented skateboarder in his own right, Conor derived a tremendous amount of happiness later in life by teaching this art form to at-risk youth in West Palm Beach, FL. Conor was a founding member and the presiding Food and Beverage Chairperson of the 21 Wing Beach Club on Coffin’s Beach, Gloucester, MA.
Services will be held at Lane Funeral Home 760 Main Street, Winchester, MA. Wednesday May 24, 2023 from 2-4 PM.
