Slattery, Barbara Ann (Guarnotta) loving wife, mother of three, grandmother of eleven passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2023, at the age of 88. Born in Arlington, MA to Joseph and Celia Guarnotta, she was a graduate of Arlington High School. She was married to her loving husband Frank in May of 1958 and soon after moved to Winchester where she raised her family and continued to reside for over 50 years.

Barbara was the administrator at the Bartlett School of Winchester for over 20 where she kept the school running efficiently while making lifelong friends. She was a volunteer for the Enka Society as well as the Friends of Winchester Hospital. She also worked as a bookkeeper in the earlier years to help support her family.

Barbara loved to travel. She cruised the world venturing to many faraway lands. She was also an avid ballroom dancer. She loved the beach or sitting by the pool with her family while soaking up the sun. She spent many wonderful summers at the Winchester Swim and Tennis Club where she played tennis and enjoyed time with family and friends.

Barbara is survived by her children: Barbie and Wayne Clark and their children Molly and Jillian, Susan Kelley and her husband Alan and their children Ryan, Shane, Trevor, Liam and Caroline. Jim Slattery and his wife Debby and their children Sarah, Hannah, Julia and Seamus. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family. She will be missed dearly.

Barbara is predeceased by her parents, her loving husband of 64 years, Frank, her siblings Eileen Provenzano and Joseph Guarnotta.

Services will be private. Arrangements under the direction of Lane Funeral Home, Winchester.
