Obituary for Anne Lindmark (Russo)

LINDMARK, Anne (Russo), 64 of Winchester passed away peacefully on January 4, 2022 after a long, courageous 25 year battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Kevin Lindmark of 45 years. Loving mother of Denise Fiorentino and son in law David Fiorentino, Joseph Lindmark and his wife Veronica, David Lindmark, all of Winchester, and Matthew Lindmark and his fiancé Lauren Thornton of Charlestown. Dear grandmother of Olivia, Adam and William Fiorentino and Michael and Francesca Lindmark. Dear sister of Dr. Thomas Russo and his wife Cheryl of Weston, Christine Russo of Lexington, Mary Casey and her husband George of Winchester, Lisa Lattari and her husband Stephan of Andover, Joseph Russo and his wife Donna of Burlington, Paula Sughrue and her husband Paul of Winchester, Mark Russo and his wife Kimberly of Leicester and the late Theresa Ruble and her husband Kevin of Woburn. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Anne, predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Phyllis Russo, grew up in Winchester and was the eldest of nine children. She was a 1975 graduate of Our Lady of Nazareth Academy in Wakefield, MA. After raising her children, she returned to school and received her RN from Lawrence Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse case manager for Atlantic Charter Insurance Company for over 25 years. Anne was a devout Catholic. She was very active at St. Mary’s Parish of Winchester, especially its CYO program and school, which she, her children and many of her siblings attended. Anne truly enjoyed family summer vacations on Cape Cod. She loved being surrounded by her family and would host weekly Sunday dinners. A gathering with Anne and her extended family was never without singing and dancing.

Visiting hours will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., WINCHESTER on Sunday, January 9th from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held in the church on Monday, January 10th at 10am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend, masks are required. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
